I Will Resurrect You

When I was feeling discouraged and even disqualified from being effective in God's Kingdom, the Lord encouraged me with the following words:

Draw close to Me and I will resurrect you
Awaken the dreams that you had at the start
The call on your life, I will re-awaken
You’ll know this is Me by the passion in your heart

For you think the candle flickers, and soon will extinguish
But a smouldering wick, I will never put out
For My flame burns inside you, My Spirit ignites you
You will feel your Father’s love for you, then pass it all about

Though deserts surround you,
Hard, dry, ground beneath you
I will not forsake you, I’m there in your drought
Let the water of My Spirit, revive what’s buried deep inside
For the desert will bloom again, like My Faith in your heart

So keep your eyes on Me alone, and listen for My whispers
For I will show you where to go, and what I’ve called you to
It’s only when you trust in Me and follow in My footsteps
That I will show you, yes you can, and I will see you through
I will show you, yes you can, for I will be with you.

Draw close to me, and I will resurrect you.

Be encouraged, my friend! God can use you and redeem His call and purposes in your life--no matter your circumstances or the season you are in.
