It’s Our Turn

And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever! Rev 15:13

Have you considered that everything will one day worship God?

Think about the thousands of years of worship that has been directed towards YHVH (God), starting with Adam and Eve all the way to today’s believers. All that worship! And that’s only a start. One day every creature will worship God, not just believers.

Imagine the hymns, the chants, the spoken words, the instruments, the choruses–the sheer variety of music directed towards our Heavenly Father through the centuries and in every language. What do you think it sounds like from Heaven’s perspective? Do you think God hears ALL of the worship throughout time, all at once? I think He might since He sits outside of time and space. I see this worship circling the globe, creating an atmosphere that is saying, “Come, Lord Jesus, come!”

Today is OUR day, it’s our time to worship Him! What a privilege and honour. Can you sense the worship all around you–from times past to present day–swelling like a wave that lifts you high and sends you soaring? We should not take this for granted or take it lightly. It’s our turn to join in the mighty symphony of praise that encompasses the globe and reaches Heaven. We join with the believers on earth and with the Cloud of Witnesses that has gone before us. Let’s do so with all our hearts, with all our minds, and with all our strength! Set us on fire, Lord, burning with passion for You!
